About Novartis Oncology Denmark
In Denmark (2007) Novartis Oncology is the third largest oncology company. We are at the same time running many clinical trials with many patients enrolled in our trials. In Denmark we mainly work within the areas of breast, prostate, blood and endocrine cancers. In 2007 we launched our newest treatment for patients with iron overload. We are looking forward to launching more new treatments in 2008.
Our Focus
Novartis Oncology is cooperating with several physician associationsto raise the knowledge of new treatments and to contribute to an open discussion of cancer treatment within our respective therapeutic areas
- The ASCO Report, which started in 1998, is distributed to all oncologists, hematologists and urologists in Denmark
- We have an open cooperation with PAGS such as:
- Danish breast cancer patient group (De Brystopererede)
- Multiple Myeloma patient group
- Prostate cancer patient group (PROPA)
- Lymphoma and Leukemia patient group (LYLE)

Danmark (2007) er Novartis Onkologi det tredje største onkologiske firma. Vi er samtidig et af de onkologiske firmaer, der kører flest kliniske afprøvninger med mange patienter inrulleret i vore studier. I Danmark arbejder vi hovedsageligt indenfor bryst-, prostata-, blod-kræft, samt endokrine tumorer. I 2007 har vi lanceret et nyt produkt til behandling af patienter, der modtager blodtransfusioner og dermed har fået tilført et overskud af jern. Vi ser frem til at lancere flere nye produkter i 2008.
Novartis Onkologi samarbejder med mange lægegrupper for at forbedre kendskabet til nye behandlinger samt bidrage til diskussionen om kræftbehandling inden for de respektive terapeutiske områder
- ASCO rapporten, som startede i 1998, distribueres til alle onkologer, hæmatologer og onkologer i Danmark
