Novartis Oncology Germany is the second largest company in the Oncology German market.

We see ourselves as a Business Unit with a clear and strong commitment to research, innovation, education, dialogue, and especially to patient needs.

Our current Oncology portfolio in Germany offers a wide variety of innovative products, such as Glivec^®, Tasigna^®, Femara^®, Zometa^®, Sandostatin^®, Exjade^® and Cardioxane^®.

In addition, Novartis Oncology has one of the broadest and more complete pipelines of new Oncologic compounds in research, as well as in early and late stage clinical development. Germany plays an important role in our research and development platform, with German centers and investigators involved in all of our early and late-phase development pipeline.

Our Focus

The commitment to Germany as one of the main research and development partner to our Oncologic pipeline is a key driver behind our overall company strategy.

We are fully committed to working closely with German Investigators in the development of all our Oncologic products.

We currently run approximately 250 clinical trials in Germany with our in-market brands and also with our development pipeline. Within the next five years, we plan to implement in Germany a clinical trial program comprising an impressive number of approximately 20.000 cancer patients

We also cooperate locally with several academic and clinical Institutions in a vast range of different projects aimed at improving diagnostic methods and treatments of cancer in Germany

Wir haben uns verpflichtet, in der Entwicklung unserer onkologischen Produkte sehr eng mit den deutschen Forschern zusammen zu arbeiten.

Im Augenblick laufen in Deutschland ca. 250 klinische Studien mit den zugelassenen Produkten und den Präparaten aus der Pipeline. Innerhalb der nächsten fünf Jahre ist ein Studienprogramm mit ca. 20.000 Krebspatienten geplant.

Wir kooperieren auch mit verschiedenen akademischen und klinischen Instituten in einem ausgedehnten Bereich unterschiedlichster Projekte mit dem Ziel die Diagnostik und die Behandlung von Krebs in Deutschland zu verbessern.
