At Novartis Oncology, we're committed to developing innovative new cancer drugs and improving access to them through our patient assistance and cancer resource programs. We are continually exploring new commercial and access models to best meet cancer patient needs and adapt to changing healthcare environments. Ultimately, Novartis believes the most effective means of achieving sustainable access is through a country's established healthcare reimbursement system. Through a partnership-based approach, shared contribution models capitalize on government funding mechanisms and infrastructures already in place, contributing to the sustainability of access while enhancing and supporting government ability and accountability in meeting the healthcare needs of its people.
